IDEAL : 16.2 Imported Oldenburg stallion bred by Theodore Renschen who perpetuated the valuable Inschallah line with his Oldenburg mare Pamela by the Vorwerk stud Zeus, out of a St. Pr St. mare by the most famous Vorwerk stallion Furioso II. Ideal received Premium Foal status in Oldenburg Germany and Second Reserve Champion status at his 100-Day Stallion Testing under an entirely European jury. Ideal competed through Third Level winning Championships and High Points
Quality endures the test of time and for nearly two decades Ideal has maintained an ability to consistently produce the elegant, athletic and tractable sport horses demanded by the ever-evolving market.
Ideal holds two impressive ISR/Oldenburg N.A. records. He is the sire of Irresistible, the highest scoring Premium Mare ever recorded at 117 points. As well as being the #1 producer of Premium Foals in the Registry's entire history.
His offspring have won USDF awards from training through F.E.I., Hunter/Jumper Championships as well as Event and Combined Driving competitions. They are ridden by juniors, amateurs and professionals from Coast to Coast, from Canada to Mexico.
Looking at his pedigree it is no surprise that Ideal is such a successful Improvement Sire. The George Vorwerk stallions Inschallah, Zeus and Furioso II had a tremendous influence on developing the modern Oldenburg. Like Inschallah and Furioso II, Ideal has the unique ability to sire horses talented in both dressage and the jumper rings with a wide variety of mares.
In recognition of Ideal's success as an improvement sire, Ideal was immortalized as a Breyer model in 2005. In 2006 the Ultimate Piaffe began shipping Ideal frozen semen to Europe.
